Supporters in tweet war ahead of judgment on Atiku vs Buhari Wednesday
Supporters of both ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar and President Muhammadu Buhari have engaged one another in tweet war less than 20 hours to the Wednesday ruling in the case between the two leaders.
A hash tag, #AtikuIsComing, has also gathered no less than 4,407 tweets as of Tuesday, as the tribunal has announced its decision to deliver judgment on the case filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate concerning the February 2019 general elections.
In the same vein, Reno Omokri, self-proclaimed ‘Buhari Tormentor’ and biographer to immediate ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has taken to his verified Twitter handle @renoomokri, urging President Muhammadu Buhari to let the election petitions tribunal do its job.
There have been reactions in support of both the petitioner and the defendant as the tweet storm rages.
