SAD: Top Saudi Prince Loses His Life In Fatal Plane Crash

The Saudi monarchy has officially announced the passing of Saudi Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Prince passed away at the age of 62. The prince met a tragic end in a military airplane crash that occurred during a training mission in the Eastern Province on December 7, 2023. The incident involved an F-15 fighter jet during a training exercise with the Air Force.

Late Thursday, the Saudi royal court issued a brief statement, revealing that funeral prayers for Prince Talal would be conducted at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh.

Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, a distinguished military figure and the son of Prince Bandar and grandson of King Abdulaziz, the first Saudi monarch, had a notable career in the Royal Saudi Air Force. Born in 1961, he held the rank of lieutenant colonel and served as assistant intelligence chief at the GIP, the Saudi intelligence agency, from 2004 to 2012.

The news of Prince Talal’s tragic demise has left a void, and the mourning prayers in Riyadh reflect the sorrow felt by the Saudi royal family and the nation as a whole.
