NIIA Appoints Dele Momodu As Associate Fellow

Chief Dele Momodu, a well-known journalist and the Chairman of Ovation Media Group, has been named an Associate Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs (NIIA).

Prof Ehosa Osaghae, the Institute’s Director General, wrote a letter congratulating Mr Momodu on his new feather in his cap.

“This institute has identified you as eminently qualified and deserving membership of the new cohort. Accordingly, it is my pleasure to inform you of your appointment as an Associate Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (AFNIIA),” the letter stated in part.

Though the appointment is honorary, the bearer is entitled to international connections with the NIIA and will use the title “Associate Fellow” of the NIIA, according to the letter, dated September 2, 2021.

This latest honor bestowed on the well-known benefactor highlights Momodu’s enormous achievements across national disciplines, with a particular focus on dialogue and governance.

The revered journalist was awarded the title of Tayese of Iwoland by the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanni, earlier this week. This is in addition to an impressive list of traditional, intellectual, and secular honors.

Sir, many congratulations!
