RCCG Launches Online Dating Site For Christian Singles

The City of David Parish, a division of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has developed a website to connect single Christians across the country.

Idowu IIluyomade, the parish’s pastor, committed to build the website after encouraging single members of his congregation to communicate and connect in order to find life companions.

Iluyomade, who recently appeared at a seminar, is said to have urged a young man to meet with unmarried women.

The individual was claimed to have expressed an interest in marrying.

Iluyomade had committed to build an internet platform to unite single Christian men and women within and outside his church, inspired by the man’s readiness.

Connectnow.com.ng, a Christian singles platform where men and women meet to prepare for courtship and marriage, was defined as a Christian singles platform by churchtimesnigeria.net on Thursday.

The report said the church posted, “This website, its content (including any information provided by registrants), and activities of connectnow is for the purpose of connecting for courtship and marriage only and is not intended to replace or serve as a substitute for any due diligence/background checks to be conducted by the registrants prior to connecting.

“Every registrant must conduct his or her own independent background check before connecting with another registrant on this platform.

“The Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David Parish, makes no representation or warranty and expressly disclaims any and all liability concerning damages sustained by any registrant as a result of connecting with anyone on this platform.”
