Nnamdi Kanu’s Trial: Police Officer Pulls Gun On IPOB Supporter [Photos]

At the Abuja federal high court, a yet-to-be-identified police officer was captured on camera pulling a gun on a member of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

The police officer was addressing several IPOB members who had gathered in the courtroom to demonstrate sympathy with the group’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu, when he took offense to a comment made by one of the agitators.

The police officer then pursued the agitator, drawing his weapon in an apparent attempt to shoot him.

Kanu will be arraigned before Justice Binta Nyako today in order to continue his trial.
