Presidency Announces Time For Buhari’s October 1 Address
On Friday, October 1, 2021, at 7 a.m., President Muhammad Buhari is expected to address the Nigerian people.
Mr. Femi Adesina, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, said this in a statement on Thursday.
It was part of the 61st anniversary celebrations of Nigeria’s nationhood, according to Adesina.
“As part of activities marking the 61st Independence Anniversary of the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 7am”, he said.
The Presidential Spokesperson added that, “all television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), respectively, for the address”.
