Nigerian Military Arrests Officer For Helping Bandits In NDA Kaduna Attack

One of the bandits’ collaborators in the attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy has been discovered by Nigerian military and intelligence services (NDA).

The personnel is a Nigerian Air Force member (NAF). Sergeant Torsobo Solomon is assigned to the Air Force Comprehensive School in Yola.

He was apprehended on Monday in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, according to the military.

An INTREP reads: “On 08 Nov 21, at about 0600hrs, NAF07/ 23922, SGT Torsobo Solomon of 153 BSG (AIR FORCE COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL YOLA) was arrested on the order of the Base Commander as requested by the NDA Commander for an offence connecting with arms and ammunition with recent bandit attack at NDA Kaduna.

“At about 0815hrs, ATR with reg no NAF 930 to arrive flight line to convey him from Yola to NDA Kaduna for further interrogation.”

Solomon’s photo was posted by the NDA, and it was reported that he will be taken to the Army Training Regiment (ATR) in Kaduna.

The assassination of the well-protected military asset is widely regarded as one of the most daring strikes on Nigeria’s Armed Forces in history.

Lieutenant Commander Wulah and Flight Lieutenant CM Okoronkwo were killed in the horrific assault on August 24, 2021.

Second Lieutenant Onah was shot in the leg. Major Christopher Datong was abducted and subsequently released.

Around 1:30 a.m., non-state armed actors attacked the NDA campus in Afaka, Kaduna.
