Plateau Assembly: APC grabs 14, PDP gets 9

The All Progressives Congress APC has won 14 of the 24 seats in the Plateau State House of Assembly while the People’s Democratic Party won 8 Seats.

The APC won in Bokkos, Wase, Shendam, Panshin North, Panshin South, Mangu North, Kanke, kanam Dengi and Kanam kantana constituencies.

Others are Mikang, Jos East, Jos North-North, Quan Pan South and Quan Pan North.

While the PDP won in Barkin Ladi, Riyom, Irigwe Rukuba, Jos North-West, Jos South, Langtang North-North, Langtang North-central and Mangu South State Constituencies.

Meanwhile the Independent National Electoral Commission in Plateau State in a Press Statement signed by Head of Voter Education Mr Osaretin Imahiyereobo and issue to Journalists in Jos said there will be a supplementary election in Langtang South and a bye-election in Pengana following the death of its elected member Honourable Ezekiel Afon.

It would be recalled that APC member elect to representing Pengana State Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly Mr Ezekiel Afon died 24 hours after been declared Winner for his reelection bid on Sunday afternoon.

Ezekial afon was to have Slumped and died immediately before been rushed to the hospital on Sunday afternoon was aged 55 years old until his death
