BREAKING: Charles Soludo Wins Anambra Governorship Election

Professor Charles Soludo, a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria [CBN], has emerged as the winner of the Anambra governorship election.

Mr. Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, defeated Valentine Ozigbo of the PDP and Andy Uba of the APC after a supplementary election was held in Ihiala local government following the failure of election to hold in the local government last Saturday.

Mr. Soludo emerged winner after polling 112, 229  votes as against 53,807 votes of Mr. Ozigbo, his closest rival.

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Andy Uba came a distant third with 43,285 votes.
