Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly set to enter into a pre-contract agreement with Chelsea, as per TEAMtalk sources.

Osimhen, 25, has purportedly decided to part ways with the Serie A champions during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Although Osimhen will not be making an immediate move this month, he is open to signing a pre-agreement in January, paving the way for a transfer to Chelsea at the conclusion of the current season. The striker, who currently holds a release clause of approximately £112 million, is seeking a fresh start with the Premier League club.

According to the report, former Chelsea players Didier Drogba and John Obi Mikel have been actively engaging with Osimhen, aiming to influence his decision to join the Blues. Chelsea, in their pursuit of a top-notch center-forward, have identified Osimhen as their primary target, demonstrating a keen interest in bolstering their attacking options for the remainder of the season.
