BREAKING: Nuhu Bamali Poly Students & Staff Members Kidnapped By Bandits Now Released

The bandits who kidnapped six students and two staff members from Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic in Zaria, Kaduna State, have been released.

They were released at an unidentified location in Kaduna on Thursday night.

The kidnapped students and staff members were released after their parents and relatives talked with the bandits, according to the Polytechnic’s Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Shehu, who confirmed the news to Channels TV.

He did not, however, specify whether or not a ransom was paid.

He added that the pupils will be met by school officials later in the day at a location where they were held after their release.

On June 11, 2021, bandits invaded the polytechnic, taking the victims from their dorms and staff apartments.

During the operation, they also killed one student.
