Nigerian Soldiers Ambush Boko Haram Terrorists, Kill 7 In Borno

According to reports, the Operation Desert Sanity, or Hadin Kai, troops ambushed suspected Boko Haram fighters, also known as Jam’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihd, and killed six of them.

According to information obtained by NEWS DIRECT, the 73 Battalion carried out a successful ambush on Tuesday, September 21, in Kayamla Village close to Maiduguri, the unrest-ridden capital of Borno State, in response to reliable intelligence. As a result, the terrorists were neutralized.

Zagazola Makama, a Security Analyst and Counter Insurgency Expert in the Lake Chad, was informed by an intelligence officer that the roving terrorists were those fleeing from a heavy military assault on Boko Haram strongholds.

The source said that they usually come to the areas to terrorise farmers and sometimes kidnap them for ransom.

He said the troops had intensified offensives against the terrorists, their collaborators and logistics’ suppliers.
