National Assembly Aides Protest Over Non-payment of Salary Arrears, Minimum Wage, Others (Video)

Legislative aides of the Nigeria National Assembly are currently protesting over the non-payment of their salary arrears in the 9th assembly, and have consequently accused the clerk of the National Assembly of sabotaging the aides and not having interest in their welfare services.

The spokesman of the National Assembly Aides, Mr. Tony Omali Esq., and few others have then indicted the Clerk of the National Assembly for his intention to renege the resolution of the two chamber to pay up the salary arrears without any delay. All activities in the assembly complex have been shut down with the ongoing protest.
