NANS Zone A Urge Public To Disregard Invitation To Inauguration
The leadership of the Zone A chapter of National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS), the Apex body of Nigerian students has issued a disclaimer urging the general public and students to disregard the invitation to “NANS Zone A Extraordinary Security Summit/Inauguration of 25TH Executives” making rounds on social media.
In the disclaimer signed by the Public Relations Officer of the zone, Comrade Mika’il Abdullahi, it was explained that the Convention held in April this year produced new officers under the steward of Comrade Muhammad Adamu Kichinga.
Abdullahi, while condemning the motif behind the invitation said in the view of the security challenges bedeviling the nation,it will be inconsiderate to risk the life of students to attend an inauguration which had no bearing in NANS charter of demand.
“NANS Zone “A” under the amiable leadership of Adamu Kichinga will not condone division uchestrated by Naira tasty Comraid like Dominic Philip and his cohorts who have refused to leave students activism for younger generation despite spending two decades in it” , said Abdullahi.
The student body while asserting that security agencies have been alerted to forestall the illegal move also warn the Management of the Umaru Musa Yar’adu University understand that the leadership of NANS Zone “A” will not condone her plan of encouraging division in the students movement just as a cover-up for her anti students policy.
