Minister ignorant on Buhari’s health status, return date

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed gave no clear indication of attitude or feeling on Wednesday when he was asked to speak about the returning of President Muhammadu Buhari to the country from London.

Recall that the President has been out of the country for what the Presidency described as routine medical check-up in London and Wednesday made it 15 days aftee he left on March 30.

Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, has in a statement disclosed that the President was due back in the country during the second week of April, 2021.”

Shortly after the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting in the Presidential Villa, Abuja, State Correspondents had asked Mohammed the exact date that the President would be back, and in response said he did not understand the big deal about the matter.

Stressing further, he said that the government is more concerned about the security challenges and some other pressing issues facing the country.
