LG Boss In Trouble After Being Caught Attempting To Murder Top Politician (PHOTO)
The police have apprehended two individuals, including a local government chairman, in connection with an alleged conspiracy to assassinate Benue State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon. Aondona Hycenth Dajoh.
This information was conveyed in an official statement by the Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi.
The statement outlined that preliminary investigations uncovered the LG chairman’s purported involvement in contracting a militia with the malevolent intent of eliminating Speaker Dajoh. Adejobi emphasized, “The operatives of the Force Intelligence Department – Intelligence Response Team (FID-IRT) swiftly swung into action upon receiving credible intelligence regarding the planned assassination. Both suspects are currently in police custody and are actively cooperating with investigators.”
Adejobi reiterated the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to ensuring the safety and security of citizens and public officials. He concluded by assuring that both individuals would face the full weight of the law. “The Nigeria Police Force remains resolute in its commitment to upholding the safety and security of citizens and public officials,” he affirmed.
