Legal Icon, Mohammed Fawehinmi Laid To Rest Amid Glowing Tributes

Mohammed Fawehinmi, the late popular human rights activist Gani Fawehinmi’s son, has been laid to rest in Ondo town, Ondo State.

Civil society members, his family members, and kinsmen paid glowing honors to him during his burial.

Prophet Stephen Robert, the officiating clergyman, hailed the late Mohammed as a man who frequently campaigned for the cause of justice during his existence.

He went on to say that death was a vital part of life for everyone.

Recall that Mohammed died on August 11th, following a brief illness, from COVID-19-related complications.

The 52-year-old guy, who was the eldest son of legal legend Gani Fawehinmi, had spent 19 years in a wheelchair, according to reports.

His immobility in a wheelchair had caused him to acquire weight before he succumbed to death’s chilly hands.

Former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko, National Chairman of the National Conscience Party, Tanko Yinusa, and many other dignitaries attended the burial ritual.
