JUST IN: Suspected Kidnappers Kill Soldier, Driver, Abduct Foreigner In Ondo

In the ancient town of Owo, in Ondo State, suspected kidnappers killed a soldier, driver, and kidnapped a foreign contractor.

At around 5 p.m., the bandits assaulted a construction site in Ogbonmo Ijebu-Owo, Owo council area, according to reports.

Vanguard discovered that they had followed the Lebanese contractor to the building site, where they killed the Soldier and the driver before whisking their victim away to an unknown location.

One of the workers at the site told newsmen that ” The man we call white engineer has been kidnapped.

“His driver and his security, a soldier were killed.  “The gunmen arriving at the site on Wednesday at about 5pm fired many shots into the air.

” We all fled the site on hearing the gunshots. Those that came were masked and were six or seven.

” It was when some of us later came back to the site after over two hours that we saw the dead bodies of the soldier and the driver.

“The White engineer was nowhere to be found. ” It was later that the police were invited and they took the corpses to the hospital in the town.

When contacted, Funmi Odunlami, a police image maker, confirmed the deaths and kidnapping of the foreigner.

Odunlami stated that efforts were being made to save the Lebanese.

The state security agency nicknamed Amotekun, as well as vigilante groups in the community, have begun combing the jungle to ensure the release of the Victim, according to Vanguard.
