JUST IN: Plateau Lawmaker dies less then 24 hours after winning election

Hon. Ezekiel Afon, a member of the Plateau State House of Assembly representing Pengana State Constituency is dead.

He died 24 hours after been declared winner for his re-election bid on Sunday afternoon.

Ezekial Afon who slumped on Sunday afternoon was aged 55 years old until his death

Confirming his death member of the family Mr Sunday Afon died while celebrating with family, friends and Supporters at home

The family Source said he was hale and hearty this afternoon and was full of life while rejoicing over him winning the election

Ezekial Banda Afon until his death was the Chief Whip in the State House of assembly and is survived by his wife and four Children.
