JUST IN: Passengers protest at Abuja airport as airline suspends Warri flights

Chaos broke out at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja on Saturday as passengers protested the three-day suspension of Air Peace flights to Warri.

Passengers heading to Lagos were unable to board an 8:30 am aircraft because irate passengers blocked the domestic wing’s boarding gate.

For the passengers traveling from Lagos, the event resulted in a delay of more than 25 minutes and a huge line.

Affected customers complained that the airline had not informed them of the three consecutive delays to their flights to Warri.

When this report was being submitted, airline representatives made an effort to calm the situation.
