JUST IN: FG Lists Borders For Nigerians Fleeing Ukraine To Poland

On Saturday, the Federal Government published a list of the borders through which Nigerians escaping the Ukraine-Russian conflict can enter Poland.

Since the war began, Russian troops have entered Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, killing dozens of people.

The Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabire-Erawa, revealed this and proposed boundaries for Nigerians fleeing the situation.

Hrebenne-Rawa Ruska, Korczowa-Krawkowiec, Medyka-Szeginie, and Budomierz-Hurszew are all on the border.

Abike assured that “Nigerian volunteer groups, as well as staff of Nigerian Embassy, will be at the border to pick Nigerians.”

The federal government announced earlier Saturday that it has made the required arrangements to transport trapped Nigerians in Ukraine to Poland.

In a public notification, the Nigerian Embassy in Warsaw, Poland, stated that officials and volunteers will be stationed at the Polish-Ukrainian border to pick up Nigerians.
