The Nigerian Broadcasting Commission’s rule was followed when the Appeal Court in Port Harcourt on Wednesday ordered MultiChoice, a major entertainment business, to sublicense several channels to Metro-digital.
The lower court erred in dismissing the appellant’s (Metro-digital) lawsuit after the appellant established the existence of the dispute between itself and the first respondent, according to Justice Olabode Adegbehingbe’s ruling (MultiChoice).
NBC, the second respondent, was likewise urged by Justice Adegbehingbe to compel Multi-Choice to comply with the court order within 21 days.
