I’ll go all the way to reclaim my mandate from Tinubu – Obi vows

The presidential candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi, has assured his supporters that he would “go all the way” to reclaim the mandate from Mr Tinubu of All Progressives Congress (APC).

The LP presidential candidate made this statement in a tweet shortly after meeting with Labour Party members in his home state Anambra on Sunday.“

Mr Obi’s statement comes as preparation for Mr Tinubu’s swearing-in scheduled for May 29 is in top gear.

“Earlier today, I interacted with the Anambra State Labour Party Stakeholders in Awka. The meeting was quite animated and constructive. Part of our discussions centred on the way forward for the party.

“I reassured them of my readiness to go all the way, explore every available legal option to ensure that we get our mandate back. I appreciated all their support so far, as I assured them of mine” Mr Obi said.

Obi in a petition filed before Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) in March, cited the drug trafficking case involvement of Mr Tinubu, as well as the qualification of the president-elect.
