ATTENTION: REBUTTAL OF FALSE PUBLICATION BY SAHARA REPORTERS:

The Attention of The Victorious Army Ministries International, and the family of Apostle Joseph Agboli has been drawn to a post in circulation by the above named media Organization.
While this malicious and inciteful publication is nothing short of laughable and without doubt, intended to malign the character and person of the deceased’s wife and immediate family, it’s expedient that truth is brought to bare.

As a church, We would like to state emphatically that Apostle Joseph Agboli died of a natural cause which emanated from a very temporal health decline.

While He was reputed to have operated a proof-personified healing ministry characterized by amazing testimonies of supernatural healings of medicine defying ailments, He was regardless subject to the frailty that trails mankind in that he was still flesh, so, took ill.

While the family wouldn’t want to join issues with any source of distraction at this time, it would be unjust to let such libelous narrative to take center stage, hence the necessity of this disclaimer.

Mama Blessings Agboli (wife of the deceased), the family of the deceased, and leaders of the church are at this time focused on honouring The late Apostle with a burial befitting of His reverred placement amongst God’s Servants.
However, We maintain unequivocally as a church that every talking point predicated on in the publication by Sahara reporters is shamefully false and indeed pitiable, especially coming from a news outfit that parades itself as a frontliner in the new media sphere.

The lawyers of the church will be addressing this issue legally in due time.

We also would like to use this medium to appreciate all the well wishers, lovers, and sympathizers of the Late Apostle Agboli for their immense support and rally of love thus far.

We will doubtless emerge from this phase stronger and better as a Church and a family, while working towards, and trusting God for a deserving funeral for the immensely loved cleric.

Council of Elders and Deacons.
