Homeless Mother-of-four Gives Birth By The Roadside, Rescued By Police (Photo)

Officers of the Lagos State Police Command have rescued a homeless mother-of-four who gave birth by the roadside in broad daylight to a baby girl. The Police officers responded to the distress call by residents and road users, on getting to the scene, the newborn was wrapped up while the mother and her four other children were taken to the Eti-Osa Primary Healthcare Centre. The Lagos State Police command shared pictures with the caption: “Our officers in Ikate Elegushi got a distress call this morning for assistance of a homesless mother of four who gave birth to a baby girl on the road. Our officers got to the scene and evacuated the new born and mother with her four children to Eti-Osa Primary Health Care Centre.”

The Lagos State Police command shared pictures with caption:
