A Nigerian man, Akin, took to Twitter to share his recent experience where he helped a man by giving him N500 to complete his transport fare.
However, to Akin’s surprise, the man used the money to buy a snack (Gala) and Coca-Cola right in front of him.

Akin’s tweet sparked mixed reactions from netizens. Some people believed that he was tricked by the man, as many beggars often ask for money under the pretext of being stranded. On the other hand, some individuals felt that Akin should not have been concerned about how the man used the money. They speculated that the man might have been too ashamed to reveal his true need and used the money to satisfy his hunger instead.
