Greenfield University Student Killed By Bandits Buried Amid Tears
Sadiq Sanga Yusuf, one of the three Greenfield University students killed by alleged robbers, was buried amid wailing and tears by family and friends, according to SaharaReporters.
Sadiq was said to be the son of Malam Yusuf Mu’azu, a Kaduna Ministry of Works Director.
His father, who was also a former chairman of the Jemaa Local Government Area in Kaduna state, received an outpouring of condolences as he was laid to rest.
Sodiq’s body, as well as those of Dorathy Yohanna and Precious Nwakacha, was discovered on Friday in Kwanan Bature village, not far from the school.
The bandits had requested N800 million earlier.
Bandit kidnappings are common in Kaduna, one of Nigeria’s most populous states.
The university attack was the third bandit attack on a school in Kaduna in 2021.
