Grace Has Left Nigeria, Now The Most Terrorized, Impoverished – CBN Ex-Deputy Gov, Mailafia

Dr Obadiah Mailafia, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has claimed that Nigeria currently has the characteristics of a failed state.

Nigeria, according to Mailafia, has lost its grace and is now the world’s most terrorized and poor country, with its economy plummeting on a daily basis.

During a symposium held by Forum for Good Governance, of the Towards Revival for All Nations, the ex-CBN chief, who is known for speaking on the state of the nation, said this at the Reconciliation House in Akure, the Ondo state capital (TRANS 21).

Mailafia, speaking on the topic of the Church’s Role in Nation Building, underlined that practically all of the country’s institutions had crumbled, leaving the country unable to fulfill its statutory obligations.

“Nigeria has fallen from the grace to the most terrorised nation in the world. Nigeria cannot be described as a nation because the power is not concentrated in the hands of government alone. There are other blocs that now have power of coersion,” he said.

While disclosing that there is an ongoing agenda of islamisation and Fulanisaion of the country, Mailafia said that Boko Haram now control of over half of Niger State, adding that if they successfully take over Niger, Abuja would be a walkover.

“The kind of Islam that is coming from Sahara is dangerous. They want to take over your land and enslave you. Christians must rise to protect it.

“In the North East alone, more than 3000 churches have been destroyed, more than 400 priests and pastors have been killed. And there is a pattern that is reserved only for Christians, and that is beheading,” he said.
