FORGERY SAGA: Atiku Reveals Only Condition To Drop Case Against Tinubu

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has revealed the only condition to drop the alleged forgery case against President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking during a World Press Conference in Abuja, Atiku paid respect to the late foremost Human Rights Lawyer, Gani Fawehinmi, investigative journalist, David Hundeyin, for doing great work in inspiring the push to unravel Tinubu’s alleged forged certificates saga, and other Nigerians who have continued to fight for the law to take its due course.

When journalists asked him if he would drop his case against the President given that he has business interests that Tinubu could use his powers to influence, Atiku answered in the negative. The Waziri Adamawa pointed out that he has no government-influenced businesses at stake.

He went ahead to reveal that the only condition to drop his case against Tinubu is when the Supreme Court delivers judgment on the case. According to him, he has decided to fight all the way and would not cave in to pressure to abandon the case except if the apex court gives its verdict.

Recall that after alleging obvious discrepancies in the President’s academic records, Abubakar pursued legal action in the US court for the northern district of Illinois to compel Chicago State University (CSU) to disclose Tinubu’s academic records. His request was granted, leading to the public availability of Tinubu’s educational documents. All eyes are on him to take the next action.
