Emmanuel Onu: Impressive European-born defensive midfielder joins Shakhter Karagandy

England-born sensation Emmanuel Onu Okwudili has signed a lucrative deal with Kazakhstan Premier League outfit Shakhter Karagandy.

His experience from playing with clubs in Bahrain, RC Athletico of Cape Town in South Africa, and Al Hilal of Sudan will undoubtedly contribute to Shakhter Karagandy’s defensive strength.

Team manager Igor Soloshenko seems to have confidence in Okwudili’s abilities, bringing him in to bolster the squad’s performance in the ongoing season.

Karagandy are currently positioned 10th on the league table and will aim to secure their place in the top tier by avoiding relegation in the competitive 14-team league.
