Emeka Ihedioha Did Not Win Election In Imo – Rochas Okorocha

The immediate past Governor of Imo state, Senator Rochas Okorocha has said his successor, Emeka Ihedioha did not win the election that brought him into office.

Okorocha was speaking at a town hall meeting at his home town of Ogboko community in Imo.

The federal lawmaker stated that Emeka Ihedioha did not fulfill the constitutional requirements of winning 25% of votes in two-thirds of the local government areas in the state which legitimizes the election of any Governor.

He reinstated his belief in the justice system of the country to do right by the people and return the stolen mandate to Henry Nwosu

“ Let me be clear, Emeka Ihedioha did not win elections in this state but was crookedly handed the mandate. This is why he is going about running government in such a crookedly manner “

“ He didn’t fulfill the constitutional requirements to be governor of Imo and I am confident that the justice system will side with the people of Imo and retrieve the stolen mandate of the people’s choice Henry Nwosu”.

Rochas is back in the state for the first time since being sworn in as senator representing Imo West.
