Nnamdi Kanu Now In Abuja, Relatives Can Visit – Lawyer

Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer for Biafra agitator Nnamdi Kanu, believes there is no reason to be concerned about his whereabouts.

After Monday’s court session, the lawyer provided an update on the trial of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader.

Kanu was not arraigned due to logistical issues, according to federal government counsel Mohammed Abubakar.

The matter was delayed till October 21 by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court.

However, Ejiofor stated in a statement that, in addition to his lawyers, Kanu’s relatives and friends can now visit him.

On designated days, however, only two people can meet the secessionist in each of these visits.

“Anyone who falls under the aforesaid category will be profiled by our Head of Chambers. Ejiofor stated, “It is now a court order.”

Kanu will remain in the Department of State Services’ custody (DSS).
