Drama As Workers Descend On Ondo Commissioner After Gov Sacked Him

Dramatic scenes unfolded at the Ministry of Justice as former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Sir Charles Titiloye, faced a disgruntled crowd following the dissolution of the executive council.

The unfolding events saw Titiloye delaying his exit from the office amid the growing crowd of workers who had gathered to witness his departure.

The workers, upon learning about Titiloye’s dismissal, expressed their dissatisfaction with his alleged highhandedness by surrounding the premises and pouring invectives on him. The situation escalated to the point where the tires of Titiloye’s car were deflated by angry workers, forcing the intervention of the police, who whisked him away in another vehicle.

According to a worker named Evelyn, “Titiloye frustrated everyone working in the ministry. We really don’t know why the late Akeredolu picked him up and left him in the office all this time. There was a time that we judicial workers wanted to go on strike because of his attitude towards us, but we were pacified, and we shelved it. Honestly, he has not been a good person.”

Notably, there are three other commissioners in the complex, but Titiloye faced the brunt of the workers’ dissatisfaction. As the chaos unfolded, Titiloye could not be reached for comments on the situation.
