JUST IN: Rachael Oniga’s Death Not COVID-19 Related – Son

A source close to Tunji, son of veteran actress, Rachael Oniga has stated that the popular actress’s death was not COVID-19 related as being peddled on social media.

This was confirmed by media ambassador for Iloshe Properties for whom Oniga was a brand ambassador, after reports filtered into social media.

While many reports state that she died as a result of COVID-19 complications, News Direct confirmed that there was no COVID-19 angle.

According to her son, Tunji, she was being treated for typhoid and malaria which she had tested positive for, and she passed on at about 10 pm on Friday, July 30.

In the weeks leading to her death, she had reportedly been on set working on her latest project.

In her lifetime, she was a veteran actress, featured in over a hundred movies.
