Delta: Why Those Who Killed Soldiers Will Be Dealt With- Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu emphasized on Thursday that those responsible for the killing of military personnel in the Delta community would face the full force of the law.

He noted that the move is part of efforts to mitigate attacks on military and security infrastructure.

Tinubu made this statement during a dinner with the Senate leadership at the State House in Abuja to break the Ramadan fast.

He reassured that his administration would continue to provide unwavering support to the military in combating security threats across Nigeria.

Following the recent killing of about 17 military personnel in Delta state during a peacekeeping mission, Tinubu stated, “Our armed forces are working hard, and we’ll not allow attackers to undermine the integrity and value of our armed forces and its leadership.”

“We’ll continue to promote and defend our sovereignty, our inherent rights to exist, and we’ll succeed in eradicating poverty from our land,” he affirmed.

Regarding the current economic challenges, Tinubu expressed optimism, saying, “We’re on the verge of overcoming these difficulties. Our revenue has improved. We just need to control expenditure and enhance our management practices.”
