Cristiano Ronaldo Passes Manchester United Medicals

Cristiano Ronaldo has passed his Manchester United physical and is set to make his Old Trafford debut.

Manchester United had on Friday confirmed that the club had reached an agreement with Juventus for Ronaldo’s return to Old Trafford.

Ronaldo was at Lisbon, Portugal, for his medicals during Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Wolves on Sunday.

Another big issue concerning the Portuguese return is the shirt he would wear with Edinson Cavani already taken the No.7 shirt number

And Manchester Evening News reports that an announcement about this is ‘imminent.’

The news outlet added that the club are not printing Ronaldo’s name on shirts until Tuesday, which suggests that an announcement on his squad number could be made today before fans head to the store tomorrow morning.

Some of the numbers currently available to Ronaldo include: 12, 15, 24, 30, 31, 33, 35.
