COVID-19: UNILAG Indefinitely Shuts Student Hostels

The student hostels at the University of Lagos have been closed due to reported instances of coronavirus on campus.

“After getting the report, which I don’t like to discuss with you, we determined that the hostels should be shut down,” a member of the university senate told The PUNCH.

“No further comment,” the insider added when asked if the COVID-19 Delta variant was discovered on the university campus.
