COVID-19: Nigeria Records More Deaths, Over 626 Fresh Cases In 9 States, FCT

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 626 coronavirus cases in nine states and Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

On Wednesday morning, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) posted an update on its verified Facebook page, stating that fourteen individuals had died as a result of the virus’s consequences.

According to the report, Lagos State had 334 cases, while Rivers had 134.

Oyo had 60 instances, FCT had 41, Osun had 20, Plateau had 14, while Ogun, Ekiti, Kwara, and Benue had nine, seven, six, and one cases, respectively.

Since the onset in 2020, Nigeria has registered 192,431 cases of the disease.

There have been a total of 2,288 deaths among the 178,759 patients who have been successfully treated and discharged.
