Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano, fondly known as A.A Rano, has a remarkable journey from his humble beginnings in Kano Village to becoming a billionaire tycoon, overseeing a vast conglomerate comprising 120 filling stations spread across Nigeria.

Born into an ordinary family in Lausu, Kano State, Rano initiated his entrepreneurial journey with modest ventures, starting with an ice block and groundnut oil business, among other local commodities.

Through sheer determination and strategic acumen, Rano has steered his enterprises to evolve into a multi-billion-naira empire, diversifying across various sectors of Nigeria’s economy.

Presently, Rano presides over AA Rano Oil & Gas Industry in Nigeria, boasting a 56 ML Tank farm in Lagos alongside 120 retail outlets/filling stations nationwide. Additionally, his portfolio includes over 600 trucks, LPG terminals, and the acquisition of the vessel M.T LAUSAU.

His ventures extend to RanoGaz, an advanced Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) terminal, a rice milling company, Rano Lubricant, Rano Air, Lausu Marine and Logistics, AA Rano Terminal, and AA Rano Road Haulage, illustrating his diverse interests and entrepreneurial prowess.
