By 2023, APC Would Have Completely Destroyed Nigeria — Baba-Ahmed
Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, a spokesman for the Northern Elders Forum, has chastised the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) for its handling of Nigeria, claiming that by 2023, the party will have completely destroyed Africa’s most populous country.
He said this during a Monday interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, bemoaning that the next party to enter power in 2023 will face a mammoth challenge of mending the country.
While blaming the political elite for the country’s difficulties, Baba-Ahmed claimed that the country’s current problem is due to leadership failure rather than banditry and kidnapping.
“What are you going to do with 2023 because between now and 2023, APC would have completely wrecked this country?” he said.
“You are going to take over a country that has been completely destroyed by a party that has been substantially produced by the PDP and how are you going to fix this country? What’s your blueprint for what happens to Nigeria in 2023?”
Terrorism, banditry, militancy, and cultism, among other security issues, have been plaguing Nigeria in various sections of the country.
