Buhari To Visit Lagos Ahead Of June 12 Protest

On Thursday, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will travel to Lagos to launch the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency’s Deep Blue Project.

The visit was confirmed on Wednesday by state police spokesperson Muyiwa Adejobi, according to the Foundation for Investigative Journalism.

The Federal Ministry of Transportation and the Federal Ministry of Defense launched the Deep Blue Project to bolster national security on land, sea, and air.

However, two days following Buhari’s arrival, on June 12, a demonstration will be held in Freedom Park in Ojota, Lagos.
