Buhari Sympathises With Sen. Aduda Over Father’s Death

After a brief illness, President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his condolences to the Aduda family on the death of their father, Tanimu Samari Aduda.

In a condolence statement sent on Wednesday in Abuja by his spokesperson, Mr Femi Adesina, Buhari expressed his condolences to the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion in the Federal Capital Territory, particularly the Diocese of Gwagwalada, on the transfer to glory of its pioneer Bishop.

The dead, according to the president, dedicated his life to contributing to the spiritual well-being of Church members.

Sen. Philip Aduda, who represents the Federal Capital Territory in the Senate, and Gabriel Aduda, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received special condolences from Buhari.

In their service to God, country, and humanity, he exhorted them to uphold and surpass their father’s legacies.

The president prayed for the late Bishop’s soul to rest in peace, as well as for strength for his family and all who are mourning him at this time.

The late Rev. Aduda was the Anglican Bishop of the Gwagwalada Dioceses in Abuja, according to NEWS DIRECT.
