Buhari Ratifies International Coffee Agreement, 2007

The International Coffee Agreement, 2007, has been ratified by President Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).

Following the acceptance of Nigeria’s membership in the International Coffee Organization by the Federal Executive Council on Tuesday, this was done.

President Buhari ratified the International Coffee Agreement of 2007 on Thursday, according to Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity.

“The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on October 21, 2020, had drawn a conclusion on the agreement, with emphasis on Conclusion 10 which approved the preparation of the Instrument of Ratification of Nigeria’s membership in the International Coffee Organisation and the International Coffee Agreement of 2007,” according to the statement.
