Buhari Is Making Difference In Nigeria With Help From China — Femi Adesina
Femi Adesina, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, has stated that his boss is making a difference in Nigeria with the help of the Chinese government.
In a statement released today, Adesina reported Buhari as saying that his administration will continue to engage with the Chinese government on essential infrastructure provision in Nigeria.
The president said this today in Abuja when he received the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency Cui Jianchun, in his office, according to NEWS DIRECT.
The statement issued by the presidential aide read partly: “Nigeria has high respect for China and what China is helping Nigeria to achieve particularly in the area of infrastructure.
“President Buhari came at a time of severe infrastructure deficit in the country and resolved to make a difference and he is making that difference with the assistance of China. Nigeria appreciates China a lot for these and will continue to collaborate with it.”
Adesina stated that the Nigerian President has visited China twice to strengthen the relationship and looks forward to more collaboration, telling the Ambassador that the President’s media office is ready to work with the Chinese to further the relationship.
