At 10:44 a.m., President Muhammadu Buhari lands at Yola International Airport in Adamawa.
President Buhari is in the state to make a condolence visit to the family of Ahmed Joda, who served as Chairman of the Transition Committee in 2015.
The President is set to pay a visit to Adamawa’s Lamido, Mohammadu Aliu Barkin Do’s palace.
The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintri, his Chief of Staff, Prof Maxwell Gidado, SAN, and members of the State Executive Council have already arrived at the airport to greet the President.
Heads of the state’s security agencies are also on hand to greet the country’s most important citizen.
