Buhari, Another Die In Ghastly Accident After A Major Political Event, Gov, Deputy Alive

In a tragic incident on Wednesday evening, two individuals lost their lives in a ghastly car accident.

The accident involved the convoy of Sokoto State Deputy Governor, Muhammad Idris Gobir, as they were returning to the state capital from an official trip to Sabon Birni.

The victims, a police officer and a photographer, were identified as Buhari Tanko.

The convoy, which included Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, had traveled to Sabon Birni for an official function. The accident occurred on their return journey, resulting in the unfortunate demise of the police officer and the photographer.

A source, speaking anonymously, provided details of the incident, stating, “I just got confirmation of the accident involving a police vehicle in which the deceased photographer was present at the time of the incident. I also heard that a police officer, whose name is yet to be known, and the photographer died on the spot. It’s unfortunate and sad. We pray Allah grants their souls eternal rest.”

Sokoto State Police Command’s spokesperson, ASP Ahmed Rufa’i, confirmed the incident, explaining that the accident involved the deputy governor’s convoy pilot vehicle, driven by a police officer. He added, “Others who sustained injuries are already receiving treatment at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital here in Sokoto.”

The tragic incident has cast a pall of sorrow over the state, and condolences pour in for the families of the deceased. The entire community mourns the loss of these two lives, and prayers are extended for the quick recovery of those injured in the accident.
