BREAKING: Sunday Igboho Reveals How Dele Momodu Met Him In Cotonu
The recently released Yoruba Nation activist Chief Sunday Igboho Adeyemo has told a few friends how the PDP Presidential hopeful, Chief Dele Momodu risked everything to visit him while in detention in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
“I was very surprised that Chief Momodu could do this when many big people were even afraid to speak up for me… He prayed for me and told me to be calm and await God’s intervention… He said all he wants is peace and that he will reach out to every part of Nigeria…”
One of Chief Adeyemo’s friends confirmed to our reporter that the meeting actually took place but didn’t give us the exact date.
Sunday Igboho was recently released by the Benin Republic government on health grounds following his arrest last year.
The incarceration of Mr Igboho in the Republic of Benin had been extended by six months after spending the initial six months in prison.
It would be recalled that Mr Igboho and his wife, Ropo, were arrested on Monday, July 19, 2021, by the International Criminal Police Organisation at the Cadjèhoun Airport in Cotonou, the Republic of Benin on their way to Germany.
