BREAKING: Speaker Dumps APC for PDP

The Sokoto State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aminu Manya Achida, has decamped from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Sokoto.

According to our reporter, Hon Achida presented the letter of his defection to the Assembly during the plenary session on Thursday.

Also decamping from the APC to the PDP is the member representing Wamakko Constituency in the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Hon. Murtala Maigona.
