BREAKING: Shekarau Defects To PDP

Ibrahim Shekarau, a former governor of Kano State and a senator currently serving Kano Central, has switched parties to the PDP.

Shekarau left the Senate during a plenary session on Wednesday.

Before defecting, he belonged to the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

Before joining the NNPP, he had left the All Progressives Congress.
