SP Nnamdi Omoni, a former spokesman for the Rivers State Police Command, has passed away.

The cause of SP Omoni’s death, which occurred on Tuesday in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, is still under investigation.

Last Friday in Port Harcourt, he had his birthday.

Omoni served as the Divisional Police Officer at the Elimgbu police station in the Obio Akpor local government region prior to his passing.

After being elevated to the rank of Superintendent of Police, he accepted the appointment.

However, the Rivers State Police command had not yet released a statement regarding the most recent occurrence.
